Anika Noni is an American performer and actress. She is best known for the role of Tiana Disney's first princess of African descent in The Princess and the Frog. The year 2011, Rose was recognized as a Disney Legend. Rose starred as Lorrell Robinson on the Academy Award-winning movie Dreamgirls. Anika noni Rose, a native of the United States is an American singer-songwriter and actress. The most famous of her roles was her performance as Tiana the Princess from Disney who is one of the very first African American Princess to appear in The Princess and the Frog (2009). Disney named her a Legend in the year 2011. Also, she has a prominent performance, in the role of Lorrell Robinson on the show Dreamgirls (2007) which was nominated for an Academy Award. And she is the jukebox player LaVerne Ganner on the show Starz's Power. She has also been recognized for her performances in the theatre, which include her lead roles in Caroline or Change (2004) on Broadway where she received the Tony Award was won for Best actress in a musical.

Pivarnick became famous when she joined the popular crew of M.T.V.'s award-winning. Jersey Shore in 2010, only for a couple of seasons. The actress was a part of several reality television programs following Jersey Shore, such as Couples Therapy and Jersey Shore Family Vacation. Angelina Pivarnick isn't only a reality show host, she can also sing as well as rap and has even released a couple of hits tracks.
